Time

Time is money, right, but what price tag do you put on a life? Did you know that speed is a contributory factor in one third of all road collisions?

When planning a journey never underestimate the amount of time you'll need on the road.

Here are a few pointers to ensure you get to your destination on time and safely.

  • Set realistic targets for appointments
  • Never underestimate the time spent at each delivery or appointment
  • Allow for contingency when travelling between appointments or deliveries
  • Never put yourself under pressure, if you know you're going to be late, let someone know in advance. Remember if you are going to use a mobile phone, park in an appropriate, safe place

Remember there's no such thing as safe speeding. Drivers who speed even 10-15% above average are more likely to be involved in an accident. They're also more likely to commit other driving violations, such as red light running and driving too close.

Bad driving is bad business.
