Support for you and your employees

Helping your employees meet their retirement goals

  • Establish future income requirements.
  • Work out how much employees can afford to save for retirement. Recommend suitable investment funds.
  • Consider and recommend consolidating pension plans where appropriate. Review final salary/ defined benefit pensions.
  • There's a no-obligation, no-charge consultation with a member of the Aviva Financial Advice Team for any employees aged 40+ who might want to understand their investment options, and aged 50+ if they want to look at their options for preparing for retirement. It will last 30 minutes. To be eligible, the value of their pensions and investments must total at least £75,000.

How Aviva supports you

  • Named advisers aligned to your worksite(s) from day one who get to know you, your pension scheme and your employees.
  • Information and tools provided online that are designed to build awareness and engagement with employees.
  • Telephony support through dedicated contact centres.
  • Financial education seminars and webinars supporting employees approaching retirement or facing key decisions (some seminars and webinars may incur an additional employer charge).
  • A diverse team of financial advisers based across the UK.

How much does financial advice cost your employees?

There’s no charge for your employees first meeting with an adviser – it’s completely free. Once they’ve discussed their financial goals, they can decide whether advice could help them.

The adviser will also be upfront and clear about fees from the start, so employees can make an informed decision about whether they’d like to move forward. If they do decide that they'd like a personalised plan, they'll be asked to sign a Letter of Engagement.

The Aviva Financial Advice approach, and fees, are tailored to your employees specific circumstances and goals – and they’ll always be explained in detail before any work begins.

What your employee receives

Fact find

  • The adviser will explain the nature of the service and the charging framework.
  • They will capture personal details, dependants, goals, income, assets, liabilities and risk appetite.

  • Detailed analysis of your employee’s current pension provision in-line with their objectives.
  • Identification of whether current holdings meet their needs and which alternative options are available.

  • Present a personal recommendation including a detailed suitability report.
  • The adviser will then explain the recommended course of action.

Product solutions

  • Any recommendations advisers make will be on products from Aviva and other carefully selected investment partners.
