Am I covered if I have to cancel my holiday?

You are covered up to £5,000 per person if you need to cancel your trip or come home early.
This includes reasons such as:

• Serious illness, injury, death, or quarantine of anyone covered by the policy, the person they’re going to stay with, a close relative, or a business colleague
• If you or your travel companion are:
  • Called for jury service or to attend a tribunal in a court of law
  • Notified of redundancy
  • Needed at home following a burglary or severe damage to your home
  • Unable to reach or use pre-booked accommodation due to a natural disaster, severe weather, fire, explosion, or an outbreak of food poisoning
  • Travel or accommodation provider becomes insolvent
