Making a death claim

You can start your claim over the phone. The first call will be for us to get a few details.

Telephone calls may be recorded and/or monitored. Calls to 0800 numbers from UK landlines and mobiles are free. You may be charged for calling outside of the UK.

Our opening hours may be different depending on which team you need to speak to.

When you get in touch, it can help to have these with you:

The full name of the policyholder

The policy number (if you know it)

The death certificate (but we can start a claim if you don’t have it yet)

The trust documents (if the policy’s under trust)
