Have you previously named a beneficiary, sometimes known as expression of wishes, this states who you want the policy proceeds payable to in the event of your death before retirement? It's time to think if you're nominated person/s are still up to date for your circumstances.
You can tell us about any change or add beneficiaries using your MyAviva account, here’s a step-by-step guide to making your change:
1. Once you are logged into your account, you will land on the main product screen. Select the Pension icon followed by the "Details" button
2. On the next page, go to "Your policy beneficiaries" and use the "Manage beneficiaries" button
3. Then on your account beneficiaries page, "Add a beneficiary" or "Change beneficiaries"
4. You can view, add and remove beneficiaries on the next page.
These choices aren’t legally binding and you can make changes again in the future. If you would like to make it legally binding, you can do this by setting up a trust. Please contact us if that’s something you’d would like to do.
