Customer reviews consist of an overall rating out of five and provide feedback on the experience of buying a policy and making a claim with us. Customers also have the option to provide a rating out of five on additional aspects of their experience. After buying a policy, customers are able rate us on value for money, ease of purchase, policy features and benefits and customer experience. After making a claim, customers are invited to rate us on ease of claim process, speed of resolution, fairness and customer experience.

Claim review

Could have been simpler and quicker.

Reporting the claim online was simple and quick and the repair was authorised without any delay. The repair company was a little slow to complete the work although the finished job was excellent. We believe this is a "no blame" claim and what's frustrating is the process by which recovery of the excess has to be attempted. We received a Confirmation Of Losses form from a solicitor appointed to act on our behalf. This form was completed but part of it had to be repeated due to unclear instructions.We still haven't recovered our £150 excess nor do we know if this is going to be forthcoming. This aspect of the process seems to be unnecessarily complex and protracted although from memory,overall, it's a huge improvement on the process of some years ago.

Superb

Aviva were really good following the accident and made things really easy for me. Everything was done over the phone and the person I spoke to was very helpful and easy yo speak to. My car was taken away for repair within 2 hours of me calling them and they arranged a hire car for me. I had mycar back a week later and am happy withe repair. My only criticism is the time taken to get to speak to somebody when I phoned. I needed to call 3 times and on each occasion the wait time was between 15 and 30 minutes.

awkward

Despite having a no fault claim at the beginning of May, it took until end of June to get my car back on what was a 3-5 day repair. Wrong hire car arranged twice and you can't get hold of anybody outside of 9-5 Mon-Fri. Won't be renewing . Way too much hassle with these.

Hello, The claim went through within 2 days and the staff at Aviva and also the other parties insurance where excellent. the problem is the repair company,the claim started o 18th may they took the car on 25th may and I still have not got it back and that I would not get it back until 2nd week in July.

Customer Service at its Best

Excellent Aviva representative handled my claim in a professional manner from start to finish. The question I ask is would it be handled differently if the cause of the accident was mine. Hopefully I will never find out.

Poor service

Paid for ..then had problems uploading no claims...got unhelpful emails and had to call them several times...sorted now and good price but has left a bitter taste
