Customer reviews consist of an overall rating out of five and provide feedback on the experience of buying a policy and making a claim with us. Customers also have the option to provide a rating out of five on additional aspects of their experience. After buying a policy, customers are able rate us on value for money, ease of purchase, policy features and benefits and customer experience. After making a claim, customers are invited to rate us on ease of claim process, speed of resolution, fairness and customer experience.

I wish I'd discovered Aviva before

Everything was explained in detail to me when asked. I got the best policy for me without them having a hard sales tactic which I find with other companies.

Very poor customer service

We were very happy with the product ,we asked for a paper copy to be sent twice ,but we haven’t received it,tried to see it online but it won’t let us in ,so we can’t what our policy covers ,I spoke customer services,and resent the policy to me but we still can’t see our cover .

Good value for money

I purchased the aviva plus with the regular comprehensive cover, however added the couresty car and motor legal to the insurance too and it was still over 20 cheaper a month compared to what my previous insurer quoted me to renew. So far I'm very impressed with the company and the website and app are both easy and straight forward to use. Hopefully I won't need to make a claim but I feel reassured that I hopefully won't have issues if I need to.

Great value and excellent customer service

I bought a new van motor policy with Aviva. Following the sudden death of my 08 van I was suddenly confronted with the need for a replacement. I opted for a contract lease vehicle. As I had another recent claim and it was a brand new vehicle the quotes I was getting had jumped significantly. Many insurers were not prepared to insure contract lease vehicles as I was not the registered keeper. I contacted Aviva originally and received a very good value quote. However I had forgotten to tell them about my recent claim on my wife's policy. i asked for a requote and to my surprise was delighted that my premium had only gone up a small amount and now I also had protected no claims. I couldn't activate the policy as it had been delivered yet. Once I had a delivery date I contacted Aviva who were incredibly helpful. I was anxious to check that I would still qualify for the low cost quote. The Aviva consultant was very thorough and went through everything so I was fully satisfied.

However, we don't charge interest and take payments on card, so there would be no difference in premium if you were to pay in full. It is possible to pay in advance by speaking to the customer service team over the phone or our live chat service if you so wish, though the premium would be the same.
