Customer reviews consist of an overall rating out of five and provide feedback on the experience of buying a policy and making a claim with us. Customers also have the option to provide a rating out of five on additional aspects of their experience. After buying a policy, customers are able rate us on value for money, ease of purchase, policy features and benefits and customer experience. After making a claim, customers are invited to rate us on ease of claim process, speed of resolution, fairness and customer experience.

Doubled my quote in less than a month

I am very dissatisfied with Aviva's service. I received an online quote which should have stayed locked in on the price for 60 days. When I used the same quote reference less than a month later, Aviva almost doubled the amount. I called customer services and they said there was nothing they could do. I have paid too much for car insurance through Aviva and m very dissatisfied with the service. I will change my provider at the earliest opportunity if Aviva is not able to resolve this situation.

Good price

Like I said great price just can't seem to contact them for confirmation of NCD documents, they just keep emailing saying they have not received them, hopefully it's sorted and my experience will have been great.

Poor repair process

I am extremely dissapointed by the repair process. I had a claim on the last week of August, it was minor damage to the vehicle. AVIVA forced me to use their repair service and said that if I did not AVIVA would charge me extra. It was meant to take a few days (a week max) to repair the vehicle, I am extremely dissapointed that it has now been 3 weeks and they have still not repaired my car. They were meant to have it complete today but they have still not finished it. This has been a horrible claims process as I have had to use Uber/Public Transport to get around. Very Very very dissapointed with the overall process.

Really impresssed with the ease to quote and the price!

Poor communication

Pretty straight forward to purchase all be it no where near the cheapest policy on offer. Chose Aviva ahead of others as I perceived they would be more professional. Unfortunately their communication skills were found to be completely lacking. Invited to leave a review despite still waiting for a reply to a fairly basic enquiry. Experience of customer service to date has been poor.

Great customer service

I bought van insurance which was cheaper than any other company for the same . When l spoke to them l got a reduction for already being a customer for other goods.

Great customer service on telephone

Purchased car insurance with Aviva as previous insurer was unable to underwrite a minor vehicle modification. As I have other insurance with Aviva I went straight to them and as I needed to speak with a member of their customer service team it was easy to contact them by telephone. It is very difficult otherwise to obtain insurance with a new provider online when the vehicle is not yet registered as the plate doesn’t yet exist. Excellent service and documents immediately available on line and printed copy arrived very soon by post. I am happy to firmly recommend.
