Customer reviews consist of an overall rating out of five and provide feedback on the experience of buying a policy and making a claim with us. Customers also have the option to provide a rating out of five on additional aspects of their experience. After buying a policy, customers are able rate us on value for money, ease of purchase, policy features and benefits and customer experience. After making a claim, customers are invited to rate us on ease of claim process, speed of resolution, fairness and customer experience.

Great customer service

I was pleasantly surprised at the total cost of my car insurance. Before, when getting an Aviva quote it was always far too high. My only negative thought is that when it comes up for renewal next year it will greatly increase in price thus making me search yet again. What a shame it always increases dramatically.

good after teething issues

Price is good, however when I tried to download policies I kept being stalled and was unable to load down. That said when I did manage to get through staff sorted problem promptly,so just frustrating at the time.

So easy

Easy Transaction, great price

POOR IT

I purchased car insurance from the 1/8/20 which was at a competitive price. I attempted to send the NCD by the auto link but this failed through an Aviva technical error. I was then sent an e mail requesting the same, but half of the email was double printed so unreadable. I can log into my account but when i attempt to view the documents or if i wanted to amend or change anything, or make a claim, i continually get a message of a "Technical Error" told to log out and try again, but same result. Then i am invited to try a different browser and contact 0800 051 3511, I have phoned twice nobody could assist as this was technical, and it would be passed to them and i would be contacted. Never had a return call and agin today 29/8/20 i am still having the same issues. Obviously with current COVID phone calls will take up to 1 hour to be answered. Hardly the service i expected, and hopefully I do not have to make a claim.

simple, helpful process

After a minor accident, which was my fault, I called Aviva Insurance to inform them of the situation. I was dealt with by a helpful lady who informed me of my options. I opted to pay for the minor damage to my own car and claim on a third party basis for the car I had damaged. This meant that the cost of the repair to my car cost less than my insurance excess which I then didn't have to pay.

Well organised and excellent customer service

I had my car stolen and I called Aviva as soon as I had the Crime reporting number and from then they were so helpful and prompt at organsing a hire care and sorting out everything and keeping me informed. They very quickly assessed the car as a total loss and paid the claim and some additional items that were in the car.
