Best offer

Just bought car insurance from Aviva and saved a bob or two as it was the best of many offers. Seems a decent policy, (although I hope I never have to put it to the test,) and fairly trouble free filling in details on internet. The only snag was the proof of No Claims bonus, I could have downloaded it on the internet if I had been a bit more of a technophobe, but it was fairly easily sorted out and sent by Royal mail. Happy motoring D.

Good Price

Best Price for car insurance. Does not include extras that you might not want but have to pay for. If required these can be added, but this leaves you with the choice

Renewing motor insurance

For the first time in years I had a difficult time getting the right details for my application for motor renewal. I went online and, firstly, I found that extras had been on gratuitously and I was unable to remove them. I found the way the extras were presented very muddling and was not able to set up the extras as I wanted. They could not be read and recorded. I rang up Aviva and was told that they would remedy this and make sure I could read everything on line. This did not work. I tried three times and no progress. I finally bought the premium but only had verbal confirmation of the details which was not satisfactory. All was set up. This was done the day before renewal was due. The next day I had a reminder to renew which was unsettling. And even the following day I had another reminder. I rang Aviva to check that it had gone through. I was told that the reminders were normal. I don't appreciate this, it is unsettling.

Brilliant

Bought myself a little camper van not realising my previous insurer wouldn’t cover me, tried to get insurance but all where asking too much (if they would even cover it!!) getting despondent until spoke to the very nice man at Aviva who insured us for a very reasonable sum, very with the service well done Aviva

Not impressed

Had car insurance with aviva but cancelled it because it Appeared it was getting more expensive if I continued. Signed up again online after expiry to get it cheaper only to find my last policy was still active, after i had written confirmation from aviva stating it was due to expire on certain date. Then trying to sort no claims discount appeared to be an issue as well because of the issue on their system. Staff on the phone were helpful and pleasant but it appears theres cracks in the system

Easy and efficient

Very good customer experience and satisfaction regarding our new car insurance. Knowing Aviva already through my company's very interesting complementary health insurance we contacted them and they did immediately the best offer regarding price and quality. Very efficient live-chat on order to finalize on-line very easily the insurance agreement and payment.
