In addition to aiming to help you make better decisions about your insurance, we use these reviews to improve our products and services.

Customer reviews consist of an overall rating out of five and provide feedback on the experience of buying a policy and making a claim with us. Customers also have the option to provide a rating out of five on additional aspects of their experience. After buying a policy, customers are able rate us on value for money, ease of purchase, policy features and benefits and customer experience. After making a claim, customers are invited to rate us on ease of claim process, speed of resolution, fairness and customer experience.

Good value

I purchased car insurance at a very fair price. I have always been a very carefull driver and hopefully Aviva will keep the price reasonable for me next year. Thank you Aviva.

Being Ignored

Having supplied my proof of bonus.......from Aviva to Aviva , i have been ignored twice and still being chased

Easy on line procedure and Great Service

Bought my car insurance from Aviva. Many years since I had my own car so have zero no claims bonus. Having checked a few comparison sites, I decided to go direct to one of the recommended ones, Aviva, and got an excellent deal. Thank you Aviva

Not great

My car was hit by a van at 11pm.it was witnessed by 2 independent people who took the reg number down. I gave their contact details to aviva, who never bothered to contact them. I was parked legally, the van was driven with no insurance but I still had to pay the excess. Taking into account the excess, value of the vehicle and the fact I wished to buy it back the claim was £0. I have fully comprehensive insurance and was told as a gesture of good will they would waive the hire car charge, even though this was included in the policy! Not impressed at all if I'm honest. I've been with them for 4 years and been very satisfied with them, until now

good insurance product and customer service but the Aviva email system is very poor

In changing car insurance provider I settled on Aviva for myself and my 2 grown up children. The product is good, the people I spoke to (where I eventually found a number to speak to someone) were helpful. The only downside was the Aviva email system that consistently failed to send out confirmations/documentation to any of the given email addresses I supplied. The emails eventually came through but in some cases several days later !
