The person who picked up the phone was very polite and helpful

So far i had one insurance for my house with Aviva anx when it came yo repaif of the wall, they were extremely efficient, i was out of country, they send their own team, did thd repair and we just paid the excess. The job is done very professional and perfect. It is annoying that in order to hrlp you i take time to write a review and whrn i want to senx it i am forced to accept your terms snd conditions!!

Excess fee

Excess fee is not clear when you select the excess fee of 350 pounds , it shows 250 pound may apply ! What is May apply mean? When I received mine on the post , I then saw first time that my excess fee is 600 so why didn’t you show this in the online quote ? I called customer service twice and they were not very helpful at all !

Hi Sami, I apologise if you feel this wasn't clearly explained in either the purchase process or policy documentation. I can confirm that you had selected the £350 voluntary excess to be applied to the policy which can be adjusted should you so choose to do so. However due to your type of vehicle there is also an additional £250 type term excess which is also applicable. This cannot be adjusted. This total excess would only be paid in the event that the claim is considered at fault. Otherwise this would either be paid or reimbursed by the other party involved. Cheapest and lovely customer service everytime

Had trouble finding affordable van insurance as someone drove into back of my lease car. As it was a lease car I didnt have any no claims despite not claiming for duration of contract but aviva sorted that as long as my insurance were happy to provide evidence of no claims then they would apply the discount...the only insurance who would do this. So I was able to afford to get my van back on the road before my lease car contract ran out and they were absolutely lovely to talk to on the phone.
