As a new Customer I am delighted with the speed and quality of the service I have received, great AVIVA thank you

I purchased Car insurance, Aviva recognised my no claims bonus from outside the UK ( Europe ) most UK Insurance companies won't accept these, we also moved house and within a few minutes of changing my home address, I received a mail advising me that my premium had been reduced, you can change your profile online at no cost unlike other Insurance Companies that charge an admin fee, AVIVA is a trusted company by me and I recommend them to anyone looking to deal with a professional, honest and trustworthy company, I have just signed up for home insurance and will use them for any other insurance we need, as soon as my wife's car insurance is due, I will switch to AVIVA

disappointing

Home insurance - claim was passed to a separate company to deal with. The amount we were getting was nowhere near what was needed to carry out the repairs. It did improve shortly but we still had to pay out more on top of our excess to get the damage fixed. It took so much time to get quotes, get confirmation from the company dealing with it to go ahead, I then had to arrange everything and was sent a cheque for less than we were expecting. Also, lots of thing we couldn't get done as not covered eg our hall ceiling got done but walls not covered even though they had suffered water damage too.

Water damage as a result of burst piece ( drain valve)

Drain valve from boiler behind boxing in had been outputting water under hall carpet for some time Claim for hall carpet assessor told my wife it was cheep (£7 sq m) polymer carpet eventually after testing agreed that it was 80-20 will carpet (actually over £26 swim many years ago) received a cheque for a very odd sim and had to contact Aviva to ask how they got to this figure surely would have been simple to put in writing with cheque Have now received s letter from solicitors acting on behalf of Aviva requesting information “ to investigate the possibility of recovering their outlay following the claim on your insurance policy on or about ...” they want to pursue s third part for a pipe leak on our property My opinion of Aviva going down hill fast
