This is why we invite our home insurance customers to leave a review after buying a policy and making a claim. In addition to aiming to help you make better decisions about your insurance, we use these reviews to improve our products and services.
Customer reviews consist of an overall rating out of five and provide feedback on the experience of buying a policy and making a claim with us. Customers also have the option to provide a rating out of five on additional aspects of their experience. After buying a policy, customers are able rate us on value for money, ease of purchase, policy features and benefits and customer experience. After making a claim, customers are invited to rate us on ease of claim process, speed of resolution, fairness and customer experience.

Great beginning, fell away quickly.....

Very easy to navigate the on-line quotation process and to get a decent quote for home insurance. Upon confirming, received the link to My Aviva so I could review the policy documents but it didn't work, saying the policy didn't exist. Called the helpline and explained the problem and the helpful lady said they'd sort it out, that the policy was in place, and that they'd send the documents in the post whilst they sorted out the problem. It took a further phone call to get the My Aviva to work properly despite then receiving an email saying the problem would take longer to fix (even though it had been). And the documents promised by post never arrived. So, in summary, easy to get the quote and buy the policy but quite stressful getting My Aviva to work and to actually feel confident that the policy is in place.

Never got a confirmation email or any receipt from my purchase. Only received the policy documents 12 days after taking the policy out after a few calls and emails. Hopefully the rest of the policy and if I need to claim isn’t as bad!

Looking at the policy, the agent requested your policy to sent by post which was why the email was not sent. I can see that you have since been in touch and your policy has been set up for online and the welcome emails have now been issued. You will also be able to view, amend and make a claim online via your MyAviva Account.
