excellent service and quick

My old contents insurance was not available anymore so I took out a new policy when my old one expired.

very efficent great service

from the time I called Aviva to clam a break in my home, was told our clams department will call you back within half an hour, and I did receive a call within that half an hour really happy with my insurance service

Good insurance, poor IT systems

The insurance product meets my needs. But buying online has proved a complete faff. Aviva currently has a problem with its IT systems. You buy the policy, but when you log into your account it's not there. No reference to it. No documents. So you have to phone up to get someone to email the documents to you. They then log a ticket with their IT people to get your new policy added to your account. 3 weeks on and it still doesn't show and no one can tell me when it will be fixed.

very good experience so far

I've only just bought a contents policy for my Aunt, after realising that her previous company had been charging 50 percent more than all the quotes I was able to get. Aviva are in the same range as everyone else, I will find out next year whether the practice of hiking premiums for existing customers goes on here too, but so far my impressions have been very good. The customer service team have dealt very promptly and patiently with my queries, and have sorted out the technical issues with using their online service. So far all my phone calls have been answered very quickly.

A good alternative made simple

Good Price Good Service

House and contents insurance purchased. Of the offerings, I picked the Premium policy as it was the fairest comparison to my existing policy renewal. I dropped one item off and the quote was considerably cheaper than my renewal. there is a possibility of a further reduction at some stage as my two cars could be included in the account (that’s not until May in my case). The premium product is a pay monthly for no extra fee, which appears to make it a monthly policy for an annual price . Finally , I put the quote together online and to ensure the quote was correct I went through the telephone process and asked questions and the online quote was the basis of the telephone quote. Paid just one month to start off the policy using a credit card (that I pay off completely each month) and the job was done. Very nice Aviva colleague on the phone. All in all a very pleasant, useful and helpful experience.
