In addition to aiming to help you make better decisions about your insurance, we use these reviews to improve our products and services.

Customer reviews consist of an overall rating out of five and provide feedback on the experience of buying a policy and making a claim with us. Customers also have the option to provide a rating out of five on additional aspects of their experience. After buying a policy, customers are able rate us on value for money, ease of purchase, policy features and benefits and customer experience. After making a claim, customers are invited to rate us on ease of claim process, speed of resolution, fairness and customer experience.

Avila plus insurance

We have recently taken out Aviva Plus insurance The process online was very straight forward We had a follow up question, which was dealt with diligently by the staff member we spoke to.

Awesome online experience

I recently purchased all my insurance policies and homecare services online through recommendation by a colleague. Bet decision ever! The price comparison sites are a rip off...go directly to Aviva and you'll be happy you did. I got more cover for less money on ALL the policies!

House Insurance

Very easy to use. Straightforward and large cover amounts for property and contents. No fiddly details item by item to confuse you and raise the cost. Reasonable premium and promise of no gouging at renewal ie no low price for first year then massive increases. I really hope so. Also discount if you have other Aviva policies.

Confusing and misleading online platform

I've been using Aviva for Content and Building for years. my policy was due to expire when Aviva sent me an option to cover it with Aviva plus, which I did, however it keep sending me emails that I need to renew my cover, despite the fact I already have a new one. Also this triggered that all info in my aviva disappeared and had to have a new one. I wish it would have been just straight forward.

I can see that you'd set the new policy up yourself online. Unfortunately the old & the new policies are not automatically linked & as we'd not spoken with you to confirm that the old policy was no longer required, reminder emails regarding that renewal date nearing have still automatically gone out to you. I've updated the policy now to prevent any further from being sent to you. I've recorded your feedback & hope this resolves any concerns you have. Disappointed

I had to make a claim and because I did not want to get the replacement product over the Internet and wanted to go to the shop (it was a bike replacement) myself I was given a lesser amount and was not even given the value of the locks that were stolen which that would have given me if I had gone through the company on the internet. Was very disappointed.

Home Insurance

After feeling very let down by our previous insurer who hadn't had the decency to flag that they had significantly less expensive policies that would have met our needs (for the past MANY years), we decicded to do an in-depth trawl of what else was available. In so doing we found your website, which we have recently used for our policy for our car, and discovered that we could save anything from 1/3 to 3/5ths on our annual premium. Guess what we did? Answers on a postcard!
