What happens next?

To help us review your claim more quickly, you can send supporting documents as attachments to protectioncontact@aviva.com, with the subject line ‘RE: Terminal Illness claim’. Remember to include the policy number and the policyholder's name name in your email.

Supporting documents confirm your diagnosis and help us assess your claim. They might be: 

  • discharge letters from a consultant or hospital
  • letters from a specialist or clinic 
  • letters from a specialist to a GP

You don’t need to send us things like doctor’s fit notes, prescriptions, or appointment letters that don’t include details about your diagnosis.
