Frequently Asked Questions

Ask us a question

You asked: What happens when I die (will my spouse have to move?)

That depends on whether you have borrowed alone or with another person.

If you have borrowed alone, your lifetime mortgage will be due for repayment in full when you pass away or need to leave the property permanently to go in to long-term care (Terms and conditions apply).

If you borrowed with another person (i.e. your husband/wife or partner), your lifetime mortgage will be repaid when the last one of you passes away or need to go in to long-term care, which ever is earlier.
