You asked: How much can I pay into my pension?

You can start paying into your pension from as little as £16 a month. This gives you an overall contribution of £20 when you add £4 tax relief from the government. You can get tax relief on payments up to the value of your annual allowance, which is £40,000 for the 2015/2016 tax year. If you've already started drawing a pension, the lower limit of £10,000 may apply to you. You can make payments above the annual allowance, but you won't receive tax relief on the extra amount and you will have to pay an annual allowance charge. If you'd like to do this, we recommend you talk to a financial adviser.
