I have a mortgage. Do I need critical illness cover?
You don’t have to buy a critical illness policy when you take out a mortgage, although our Critical Illness Plan could provide a lump sum payment that could help cover any mortgage repayments if you’re diagnosed with a critical illness that’s covered by the policy during the policy term. Lenders are likely to ask you to get life insurance as part of their mortgage offer.
