Frequently Asked Questions

Ask us a question

You asked: What happens if my partner dies and we have a joint life insurance policy?

Our Life Insurance Plan is set up to pay out upon the first death. If you have a joint policy and your partner has died, you can make a claim against your policy and we'll look to process your claim as quickly as we can. After that, the policy ends immediately. Alternatively, our policy could pay out if you or your partner are diagnosed with a terminal illness that meets the policy conditions during the policy term and are not expected to live for longer than 12 months. If a payment is made, the policy will end immediately. To make a claim, please call us on 0800 015 1142.
