You asked: What is critical illness with decreasing cover?
With a critical illness policy with decreasing cover, the level of cover we provide reduces throughout the term of the policy, broadly in line with a repayment loan or mortgage. The premiums will stay the same during the term of the policy, unless you choose to make changes to the cover.
The policy will pay out if you are diagnosed with a critical illness that meets our policy definition and survive for at least 10 days. There is no cash in value at any time.
If your policy was previously Friends Life, then the above information may not apply. For further information please refer to your policy documents or contact us.
