You asked: How will the regular withdrawals I take from my bond affect the overall value of my investment?

Investment bond customers only

If the regular withdrawals you take from your bond are greater than the amount your investment is growing by, its overall value will fall.

For example:

If the regular bonus rate was 2% per year, and you took withdrawals of 5% per year, the value of your bond would drop by 3%. This would be affected further by charges.

If you wish to review your regular withdrawals, we recommend you contact your financial adviser. If you don't have a financial adviser you can find one in your area at Where advice is provided, there may be an additional cost to you.
