Watery Lounge

Leak from bath and basin waste pipe into lounge. A large crack opened up in ceiling. Claims handler very competent and highlighted asbestos issue (which I was aware of due to my role within Aviva). Asbestos company attended next day. ACS surveyor excellent. Professional, honest and flexible. Outlined process. Agreed to use Aviva trades for repairs and own trades for carpet replacement. Asbestos results negative so our plumber was able to fix leaking pipe work from ceiling. BMC then attended and all were extremely professional and did a great job. Electrician went extra mile. Contact at BMC also very good. Lounge now looks great. Only slight downside was damage to leather sofa as still unable to clean away artex residue but agreed cash settlement with ACS surveyor to fix this at own speed.
