Do you provide cover for a newborn baby?

Yes, we do. But how it works depends on when you register your baby.

If you apply to register your baby as a dependant on your policy before they're three months old, we'll give you up to three months free health cover for them. We'll also disregard their medical history and no personal exclusions will apply.

If you add your baby after they're three months old, we'll then underwrite any pre-existing conditions.

Your baby will continue to get free cover after the first three months if you already have other children on the policy aged 19 or under. That's because a premium is payable for the eldest child aged under 20 on the policy. All other children aged under 20 on the policy are covered for free.

We also offer a ‘baby bonus’ where any family member covered by the policy will get £100 from us when they have a baby or adopt one up to one-year old. Premiums must be paid to date, and a 10-month qualifying period applies to members with either a moratorium or fully medical underwritten underwriting.
