Frequently Asked Questions
Ask us a question
You asked: Will my life insurance cover continue if you pay out on a critical illness claim?
If you take out life and critical illness cover then we will set up the cover as separate life and critical illness policies.
If you make a successful critical illness claim then your critical illness policy will end but your life insurance policy will continue and you may be able to make a further claim on it in the future.
In some instances you may be able to make a claim under your life insurance policy at the same time as a critical illness claim. If you are diagnosed with a terminal illness and are not expected to live more than 12 months then we would pay out the full cover amount under both policies. They would then both end.
