Enjoy control over your health cover
Our Private Health Insurance gives you the flexibility to add a range of extra benefits to your core cover.
Whether it's additional dental cover you need or cover for specialist treatments such as acupuncture, you can enhance your policy with our diverse options.
Dental and optical
Our Private Health Insurance already covers surgical dental procedures 1 performed in a hospital. But with our dental and optical option, you’ll also be covered for routine dental treatment and optical expenses 2.
- Up to £200 of optical cover
- Up to £300 of routine dental treatment cover
- Up to £600 of dental treatment cover following an accident
Mental health treatment
Your mental wellbeing is just as important as your physical health. And with our mental health treatment option, you’ll be covered for in-patient and day-patient treatment if you’re diagnosed with an acute psychiatric condition. We’ll pay:
- In-patient and day-patient accommodation and nursing costs in full up to 28 days
- Specialists’ fees for in-patient treatment up to £210 each week
Upgrade your hospital list
Our Private Health Insurance already gives you access to our Key hospital list. But you’ve also got the option of upgrading to our Extended hospital list – increasing the number of hospitals you can use.
Depending on your condition, you may still need to be treated at a hospital on one of our networks. But you'll enjoy greater choice and coverage by upgrading your hospital list.
Other treatment and therapies
Extra cover for physiotherapist, osteopath, chiropractor and acupuncturist referrals if you suffer an accident such as whiplash or a sports injury. We’ll cover:
- Up to 10 sessions with a physiotherapist, chiropractor, osteopath or acupuncturist, if referred by your GP
- GP minor surgery up to £100 for each procedure
No Claim Discount protection
Protect your No Claim Discount (NCD) for an additional premium and help keep your future premiums down 3. Here’s how it works:
- Our NCD protection takes effect if you make a claim that would have caused you to drop three levels down our NCD scale
- Where this is the case, instead of your NCD reducing, it will stay at the same level – however, your NCD protection will be lost
- Once you’ve been claim-free for a year, you can ask us to protect your NCD again
Switching from another insurer or simply want to add NCD protection when you renew? No problem – just let us know when you apply or get in touch.
