Motor insurance: how can we help?

Motor insurance enquiries: I want to cancel my policy from the renewal date

Complete the form and give us any other information.

We’d love to cover you for another year, and we’ll be sorry to see you go if you decide to cancel.

Renewal is an ideal time to check if you’re covered for anything you don’t use, or if you want to make changes that might reduce your premiums. If you’ve made your decision and your policy is due to renew automatically within the next five days, it’s best to call us.

If you pay for your policy annually, you’ll find confirmation of your no claim discount (NCD) in your renewal pack by logging in to MyAviva. If you pay for your policy monthly, we’ll send you proof of your NCD once we cancel your policy.

Remember, you’re with an insurer that will be here for you:

  • We settled 99% of our motor claims in 2019
  • We repaired over 71,000 vehicles last year
  • We’ve been protecting our customers for over 300 years
  • You’ll get up to 10% off other Aviva cover, such as home insurance and private medical insurance

No JS fallback message *

If you’re an Aviva Online customer via Confused.com, you can also use your quote number.

Do you want to cancel your policy from the renewal date?
If you have more than one vehicle covered under this policy all vehicles will be cancelled at the renewal date. Are you happy to proceed?

Please notify any permitted drivers of vehicle(s) removed from cover they are no longer insured to drive such vehicle(s) under this policy.

Details of vehicle(s) removed from the /this policy will be passed to the Motor Insurance Database to show that Aviva are no longer insurer of such vehicle(s).

The police actively use this database in an effort to reduce the number of uninsured drivers on the road. It is an offence under the road traffic act to use a motor vehicle on a public highway or other public place without adequate third party insurance.

When you submit this request we will review it and be in touch to confirm next steps and actions.
