Heating

£12.50 per month

Cover for your gas boiler and central heating system in the event of breakdown.

Price includes a £50 excess per claim and a 25% introductory discount.

  • Boiler health check in your first year with us
  • Annual gas boiler service and carbon monoxide detector check
  • Necessary repairs to your gas boiler and central heating system (as long as they passed the health check)
  • Replacement boiler if we can’t repair it (if your boiler’s 7 years old or more, you’ll need to make a £500 contribution as well as any excess amount)

Heating and plumbing

£15.50 per month

Covers heating, plumbing problems and emergencies.

Price includes a £50 excess per claim and a 25% introductory discount.

  • Boiler health check in your first year with us 
  • Annual boiler service and carbon monoxide detector check
  • Necessary repairs to your gas boiler and central heating system (as long as they passed the health check)
  • Replacement boiler if we can’t repair it (if your boiler’s 7 years old or more, you’ll need to make a £500 contribution as well as any excess amount) 
  • Repairs to leaking pipes, joints and drains
  • Unblocking of sinks, toilets and pipes

Heating, plumbing, electrics and security

£18.50 per month

Covers heating and plumbing, as well as faulty electrics, home security and more.

Price includes a £50 excess per claim and a 25% introductory discount.

  • Boiler health check in your first year with us
  • Annual boiler service and carbon monoxide detector check
  • Necessary repairs to your gas boiler and central heating system (as long as they passed the health check)
  • Replacement boiler if we can’t repair it (if your boiler’s 7 years old or more, you’ll need to make a £500 contribution as well as any excess amount)
  • Repairs to leaking pipes, joints and drains – including emergency roof leaks
  • Unblocking of sinks, toilets and pipes
  • Repairs needed to electrical wiring
  • Wasp or hornet pest control in your home or garden
  • Repairs to broken locks and windows

What’s not covered

Unfortunately, we can’t cover everything – make sure you’re happy with what’s not covered, including:

  • Any plumbing, electrical or security problems within the first 14 days of your cover – though we can still help you get a quote for repairs
  • Problems with warm air or under-floor heating systems
  • Any natural gas appliances or oil fired heating systems
  • Chimney repairs
  • Repairs to external guttering, rainwater downpipes and soakaways
  • Replacing locks or lost keys if you have access to another set
  • Repairing internal doors and windows that aren’t used to secure your property

Eligibility

To take out our heating and boiler cover:

  • You must live in your own home (not a rented or sub-divided property) in the UK (excluding NI, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man)
  • Your home must be heated by natural gas and can’t be used for business purposes
  • Your property cannot be a flat, maisonette, mobile home or bedsit
  • Your boiler must also pass the health check we carry out to make sure it’s safe. If your boiler fails the health check, we’ll give you a full refund of any premiums you’ve paid
