What's not covered

We can't cover any plumbing, electrical or security problems within the first 14 days of your cover - but we’ll provide you with a quote for repairs. Other things not included in cover are:

Heating exclusions

  • External gas supply pipe (responsibility of National Grid)
  • Any gas appliances, oil-fired heating systems or under-floor heating

Plumbing exclusions

  • Showers
  • Repairs to external guttering, rainwater downpipes and soakaways

Electrics and Security exclusions

  • Household appliances
  • Replacing locks or lost keys if you have access to another set

Or if you’d like to book an appointment for non-urgent repairs, simply log in to MyAviva (as long as you don’t have an excess on your policy).

Arrange an engineer

We’ll arrange for a HomeServe-approved engineer to come out at a time to suit you.

Step 3

That’s it – simple
