With these prices you'll pay the first £50 on every claim. You can also choose to pay £0 excess – get a quote to check the price for that option.
What's not covered
We can't cover any plumbing, electrical or security problems within the first 14 days of your cover - but we’ll provide you with a quote for repairs. Other things not covered include:
External gas supply pipe (responsibility of National Grid)
Any gas appliances, oil-fired heating systems or under-floor heating
Repairs to external guttering, rainwater downpipes and soakaways

Replacing locks or lost keys if you have access to another set

To take out our heating and boiler cover:
- You must live in your own home (not a rented or sub-divided property) in the UK (excluding NI, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man)
- Your home must be heated by natural gas and can’t be used for business purposes
- Your property cannot be a flat, maisonette, mobile home or bedsit
- Your boiler must also pass the health check we carry out to make sure it’s safe. If your boiler fails the health check, we’ll give you a full refund of any premiums you’ve paid
