Home insurance- Personal belongings cover

Video transcript

By adding personal belongings cover to your home contents policy you’ll have the peace of mind that your possessions are protected, even if you lose or accidentally damage them in or away from your home.

You can choose a cover limit online of between £2000 and £6000 for your clothing and personal items like handbags, wallets, phones and cameras. But if you feel you need more than that we can arrange it. Simply give us a call.

If you select this option we’ll automatically cover individual items for up to £2000. We do ask that you specify things such as contact lenses, hearing aids, and specialist sporting equipment such as skis or riding tack. If you want to add items of a higher value, that’s no problem either. Just call us and we’ll make sure they’re itemised on your policy.

You’re also covered for up to £750 of lost or stolen money and items such as gift vouchers, season and travel tickets, plus up to £1000 for fraudulent use of credit cards.

So with Aviva’s personal belongings cover, you can relax in the knowledge that your money and possessions are protected wherever you are in the world. Simply add it to your home insurance policy when you buy it online or over the phone.

And that’s it – insurance made a little easier.
